The Half Dome 50/50/50 Adventure

For his 50th birthday, Griff Joyce organized 50 friends to climb Yosemite's Half Dome. It was his 50th time summiting the iconic peak. Part of the group descended shortly after sunset, and the remainder of the group remained atop Half Dome until past midnight. The adventure was filmed from three angles: Sean Goebel was at Clouds Rest, Matthew Saville was at the Cascade Cliffs (near Starr King, above Little Yosemite Valley), and Kurt Lawson hiked to Mt. Watkins. Matthew was assisted by David Hunter and Kurt was assisted by Kim Homan and Anne Mullins.

Print Information:

A 50% discount from our normal prices is offered to the Griff hiking group and their friends. Please contact Sean for prints of images edited by him or Matthew. Contact Kurt for photos edited by him. If you would like prints of images edited by both, either can be contacted. Please specify the image title and sizes you are interested in.

  • 8x10" or 8x12": $30 $15
  • 12x18", 13x19", or 10x19": $50 $25
  • 16x24": $60 $30

12x18" is the most commonly purchased size, includes a 1/2" border (i.e. is on 13x19" paper), and mattes well into an 18x24" frame. Priority shipping within the U.S. is $9. Shipping is per-order, not per-print (i.e. you could buy 4 12x18s and it will still be $9). International shipping is available. Kurt and Sean accept payment through PayPal or Venmo (or could work with something else if you don't like those).

Kurt and Sean print on premium glossy papers using large-format pro-grade printers. If you would like a print larger than listed above or a different style (canvas, aluminum, etc.), contact Kurt or Sean and he can obtain a quote.
